DENVER home additions

Sometimes the right answer is not to reconfigure what you have but to add to it. A backyard addition to create a primary suite. A bump-out to expand a cramped kitchen. An above-garage space that becomes a guest suite or a home office. Denver homeowners have been exploring these options more actively in recent years as home values have climbed and the calculus of staying versus selling has shifted.

Additions are among the most technically complex residential projects because they require seamless integration with an existing structure. We do not sell you an addition until we are confident it will be done right.

Our Heverly Heights project is a clear example: a backyard primary suite addition to a historic Denver cottage that preserved the original facade and felt like it had always been part of the house. The addition added square footage and transformed how the family lives in the home without compromising the character that made it worth staying in.
